Can't make it to the farm? No problem — we'll bring the farm to you! Our Mobile Petting Zoo travels to schools, community events, corporate gatherings, birthday parties, and more. Kids get up-close time with friendly farm animals, guided by our knowledgeable handlers who make every interaction safe and educational.

Gold Rush Field Trip

Open Farm Days
Come explore the farm — everyone is welcome
Open Farm Days at Ford Family Farms are the perfect opportunity for families, community members, and curious minds of all ages to experience life on a real farm. Enjoy feeding the animals, pony rides for the kids and searching for treasure in our gem mining sluice.
Our Open Farm Days are held periodically throughout the year on weekends only. We do not have regular business hours during the week, as our farm is reserved for private field trips and events. We will always post weekly updates of Open Farm Days for the current week on our Social Media pages Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and also on our website & voicemail.

Pumpkin Patch Visiting & Field Trip
Fall fun for the whole family and classroom
Experience the magic of harvest season at Ford Family Farms! Our Pumpkin Patch is a beloved fall tradition for schools and families across the Central Valley. Students and visitors get to explore the patch, pick their own pumpkin, and learn about the growing process from seed to harvest in a hands-on, memorable way.
Pumpkin Patch Field Trips are booked Monday–Friday. Our Pumpkin Patch is open to the public for visiting only on Fridays 5–9pm, Saturdays 10am–9pm, and Sundays 10am–7pm during the month of October.

Hand Guided Pony Rides
